China, home to over 1.3 billion people, the land of Mount Everest, biggest economy in the world, boasting such marvels as Mount Everest, The Great Wall, giant pandas, exquisite cuisine, ancient medical knowledge, and the birthplace of kung fu.

Most people who make the 5,000 mile journey from England to China usually do so for the sightseeing, the architectural feats, the cultural experience, or indeed business, but Joshua Frank host of Vice Intl, below had other ideas. He made the not so short haul journey so he could sample insects, yes, insects.

Things begin tamely enough, he is introduced to the bugs, he holds them, gets a feel for them, and all is fine and dandy. He even quips and jokes with his guests. So now he watches the chef prepare the 'delicacy', takes in the aroma, the sights, and is still seemingly undaunted.

Now comes crunch time, literally, as he eats his guest's offering, trying his best to maintain his composure, but look at that nervous smile and laughter, perhaps tinged with regret?

Aaaand oh look, he clearly wasn't able to keep it down, just as I expected. So here's a life lesson boys and girls, leave the bugs for bigger bugs to consume, and when in China, play it safe and perhaps go to a restaurant, but of course that isn't very adventurous.
