How The Giant Rice Wave Prank Turned Into A Hilarious Photoshop Battle

It's still January in 2019 and we have already encountered several viral trends from the likes of wave check and airpod memes to Kylie Jenner losing to an egg for the most liked image in the history of Instagram. So step in comedy duo Kanta and Tommy who started their YouTube channel called Mizutamari Bond on the sole purpose of sharing their comedy to a larger audience. In 2017, they also became the 10th most subscribed channel in Japan.

The prank begins with Kanta, the mastermind behind the Giant Rice Wave prank, telling Tommy that he is going to make video of himself frying rice. Now, if i was told that, I'd not be amused, Tommy was the exact and was not amused about it. The video is in Japanese, so you might want to turn on the subtitles…watch the video below…

The resulting video above of course went viral after Kanta posted an image of the giant rice wave sculpture on his Twitter…
